I really will say it fucking sucks seeing thousands of hits, a bunch of private bookmarks, and then less than 100 kudos and less than 5 comments on a fic. A lot of you really have no respect for us
It is not hard to leave a kudo. Just press a button. Or even to comment and say “I loved this!”
I’m not expecting long thought out comments (though I love them), I’m happy with a damn kudo. But a lot of you can’t even give that. It’s fiscouraging
I miss the community that LJ had, honestly. People were so encouraging. I was 14 (lying about my age Woops), posted maybe 2-3 stories to communities and got like 10+ encouraging comments on each
Just. Idk. I’m not really here for “I’m afraid the author will think I’m being weird so I don’t comment!” anymore. Sorry. That’s not a legitimate excuse anymore and if you are really that anxious about it bc I know irrational anxiety is a thing, then anon kudo
