Because honestly even if it seemed silly at the time, it’s a tweet. It doesn’t even matter. What does matter is inclusivity and being open to learning more about other cultures

3, after spending the last couple of hours discussing it w/ friends & Inuits or other POC I have learned that it’s relatively known to the mainstream. Pretty much outside of Alaska and Canada we are all ignorant to the feelings of certain cultures and that’s ok, we can learn
4, am I a racist? Absolutely fucking not. Did I tweet something I thought was funny, absolutely. Did I double down on my ignorance to the situation, absolutely.
It’s hard to be in the early stages of unlearning something. But unlearning a word is easy, unlearning hate is not.
