In Guattari's "Regimes, Pathways, Subjects" he lays out 3 paths/voices of apparatuses (assemblages): 1. "power over exterior territorialities" 2. "deterritorialized modes knowledge about human activities and machines" 3. "the creativity proper to subjective mutations."
His problem: how to situate the creativity proper in relation to territorializing power and deterritorializing knowledge. Creativity, this third path, richest in "universes of virtuality." the "best endowed with lines of processuality."
He points out the above is for "speculative cartography." It helps clarify problems. "... so perfunctory a model cannot even claim to begin to map concrete processes of subjectification."
While any particular manifestation of these modes of apparatuses "have not always existed" and "will not always exist" there are "collective systems for 'memorizing' data and modes of knowledge, as well as material apparatuses of a technical, scientific, and aesthetic nature"
The technical, scientific, and aesthetic mentioned reminds me a bit of Simondon: the technical objects and individuals, the formal iterations of schemas of technical objects, and the human centered aesthetic that associates these milieus, component of invention.
Guattari lays out "three zones of historical fracture" that lays the foundation for the emergence of capitalism. These serve as "fundamental capitalist components." 1. age of European Christianity 2. age of capitalist abstraction (subsumption) 3. age of planetary computerization
The components established in his words:

1. "new conception of relations between the Earth and power"
2. "founded on principles of general equivalence"
3. "creating the possibility for creative and singularizing processuality to become the new fundamental point of reference."
