The religious beliefs are based on scientific actions. Just think about this, if Tulsi wouldn't have been worshiped, it would have been extinct by now. Tulsi needs regular water to sustain.

If you chant complete surya mantra it will take around 8 minutes to finish while offering water to sun god. Till that time we get vitamin D. No wonder every body is getting vitamin D shots, as the traditions are not respected in the name of being modern and liberals.
