It was... *WEIRD* ...to win the caucuses and not the nomination – but when it didn't work out for our guy, the instinct to suit up as #TeamPeteForJoe was instantaneous. I was very proud of that, because it was never just about the individual, it was about saving democracy...
Most of the Iowa team were on their first campaign, and losing / dropping out of a race, whether for city council or for president can be confusing AF for people who uproot their lives to support a cause they believe in – but at the end of the day, this team was about service...
When it was all done – after a few drinks, some dancing, and a little Panic! & Carly Rae Jepson – y'all suited up to go support Joe Biden in states across the country, fighting for your local congressional seats, senate seats, etc. because you knew what was at stake...
