You know I've had a hard few days since February started. I don't got time for all the negative crap, lemme talk about something's I really like about super nintendo land
First off I do like the yoshi ride's queue. It looks exactly like the first level of Yoshi's island. Hearing the music really got me hype. It reminds me very much of the games. I also love the AA of yoshi with baby mario on his back. It looks exactly like them in the cover art
Another thing I love are some of cameos. I'm so glad poochie made it! I hope the poochie pups are added to the land to find! I also love seeing the baby yoshies! Also MARIO'S FACESHIP FROM GALAXY SHOWS UP!? Not to mention MY BOY CAPTAIN TOAD WITH HIS THEME SONG PLAYING?!?!
Like this is all spitting image from the box art it looks amazing.
Now what I love about the Mario Kart ride is how I can literally look at the photos and know the EXACT course and the EXACT spot in the course they used for that scene. I didn't even have to see the whole scene cause soon as I heard the music I was like THAT'S CLOUDTOP CRUISE SON
The queue for Mario Kart is great. At first I thought it was weird that they chose bowers castle as the queue but after looking at the queue bruh...BRRRUUUHHHH! All the gags bruh are AMAZING like toontown/Muppet vision levers of gaggatry
Also say what you want about Bowser but homie has TASTE! Look at how GORGEOUS this thing is! I hope they sell this at the gift shop.
This model is bangin. This 2D art is very much in the design with the stamps and badges you could unlock in 3D world and Land.
It's also very cool to see how bob-ombs are made and where the koopas get all their seemingly endless supply of weapons.
So a lot of this ride makes note of other games. But seeing the poltergeist 3000 from Luigi's Mansion was unexpected. Also seeing Mario's tool belt from super mario maker and the wrecking crew nes games. It's nice to see them reference the gang's other "jobs"
You know looking at all of this I'm really excited to try and visit this land. It looks fun. I like to look on the bright side and give things a chance. I know what it's like to have someone look at me or something I've made as bad without even give me or it a chance.
Hell now that I think about it Nintendo doesn't try to do anything with major pomp and circumstance. They worry about making sure a game is fun. At the core of their games is fun. When Mr. Iwata was alive that was the number one thing he cared about.
He didn't care about HD or using the latest flashy thing. It was about fun. That's what sells a nintendo product. It's pure, unadulterated commitment to fun. I've stuck by Nintendo all my life. Hell I even had a Wii U, which is like owning a 21st century virtual boy.
But each and every time they delivered nothing but a fun experience. This looks no different. Super Nintendo land looks fun. It screams come play with us and have a good time. Mr. Iwata would be damned proud of Super Nintendo Land because of this. And that's good enough for me
