Black family molestation thread:

I just encountered another case of another troubled young man in my program, who’s just revealed he’d been being molested by his cousin and uncle growing up.

Incest is very common in the black community and we try to act like it’s a white thing.

It’s crazy how everyone (literally) in my immediate circle (black), was molested at one point when they were a child, including myself.

Most happened with a family member.

What’s crazy is, the family usually knows and it never gets checked.

It’s black folks right now who just keep their kids away from said uncle or cousin, instead of killing them where they stand.

Or even just not inviting them to family functions. It’s sickening.

This literally creates other rapists and pedophiles in our communities. That go and rape other black women and children.

This is a sick issue that still never gets enough light.

Oh and the kid that I mentioned, the family members are on his deceased father’s side. They have completely shut him out from that side of the family ever since he told. He’s 16 now and suffers so much mentally from being molested for years.

We also act like we’re scared to mention that this is why so many children think that they are “homosexual”.

I have another 11 y/o in the program who thinks he likes boys, only to later reveal to me that he had been being molested for years by a male relative.

This is also leads to sex addiction for many young men who are molested by women.

I was 4. I honestly never knew it was wrong until we had the “good touch bad touch” conversation.

She made me have sex with her as well as her having oral sex with me. This happened from age 4-6.

Immediately when my mom had started talking to me about it, I told her everything and I never knew it was wrong.

Growing up, the sexual urges were unbearable. I was watching porn. I used to bother older cousins and women and see if they’d “touch” me.

Being transparent here. This is a reality for so many young black men and women who grow up to become rapists and pedophiles.

They never got the proper help because the family tells them to be silent or they’ll chastise them.

These are black families.

I know so many stories of friends who were raped etc by their grandfathers and uncles etc and the whole family knows but it’s blasphemy to discuss.

Or family members who help single mothers financially in return for sex with their children.

In the black community.

I challenge you, if you are a victim, to tell. I don’t care how old you are now or if the family shuts you out.

You can’t even function at family events because of PTSD and trauma from what happened to you as a child.

TELL! In front of the whole family if needed.

Stop leaving your children alone with folks. I don’t care how much you trust them.

TEACH your children to tell and about how people touch them!

Teach them about going into rooms alone with people, sitting on laps, hugging between the legs etc. Pedos are slick.

Every little kiss, rub, and hug isn’t some innocent touch from grandad and uncle. Some of them are predators and you may not know it.
