Ben Amos.

Currently plays for League One side Charlton Athletic (3rd tier of English football).
Jesse Lingard!

Easily the most successful footballer out of these lot.

Right. So here we have 11 players. Almost all of which were considered to be future starters - and only one of them turned out to be good enough. 2 if you include Januzaj.

Sometimes you get talented gems come through the academy, but it's very rare.
We should ship academy players out on loan to give them experience. If they get gametime and are genuinely good enough, they come in.

We need to stop throwing them into the deep end as a money saving exercise if they aren't ready. This is how an elite club acts.
