The WHO & other agencies of disinformation claim antibiotics do not work against viruses, only bacteria, and yet the best health care providers are using macrolide antibiotics in patients with COVID-19 to great effect, basically curing Covid19. This is because:
"Patients with viral pneumonia can develop a secondary bacterial infection that may need to be treated with an antibiotic, although, this complication is reported to be uncommon early on in the course of COVID-19 pneumonia."
Azithromycin & Clarithromycin (macrolides) have antiviral & anti-inflammatory activity & may work synergistically with other antiviral treatments. In in vitro studies macrolides demonstrated antiviral activity against Zika virus & against rhinoviruses which cause the common cold"
What am I getting at with my threads on macrolides? Yes they work, but the problem is elsewhere, it's in the categorisations pushed by the WHO & modern medicine: that a drug is either an antiviral or an antibiotic. It's not like that, macrolides can be both.
