This is a straight up lie that's guaranteed to go viral (whether it's from climate deniers or from people who think you can just reduce demand). The pic is from a test of a helicopter de-icing system in 2016; modern turbines in sub zero climates have in-built de-icing systems. https://twitter.com/BjorkBrodern/status/1356678593988988932
I think I see it posted by some slight variation of the exact same guy every 2-3 years.
This is a sort of recent update on the variety of de-icing techs (many of which can't be tested because icing conditions are becoming more rare. Why could that be?): https://www.windpowerengineering.com/the-cold-hard-truth-about-ice-on-turbine-blades/

Feel free to build your case that demand needs to be reduced - it really does.
If you can't figure out how to build that case without just literally lying, maybe sit this one out.

Incidentally, this was one of Craig Kelly's favourite images to constantly repost https://reneweconomy.com.au/why-cleantech-inspires-a-new-magnitude-of-wrongness-30471/
Oh and this is from the page of the specific wind farm in the photograph, Skellefteå Krafts vindkraftspark https://www.skekraft.se/english_pages/wind-power/#box-no-8
This particular lie is just off the charts at the moment. @lukelegate, a fossil fuel industry PR consultant @gfoxconsulting, has posted it, adding the fiction that it's taken during a storm to fit into the lie that Texas' blackouts are causes by frozen turbines. RTd by @mattjcan.
I guess literally lying about energy to benefit clients during a major extreme weather crisis falls under "crisis communications", @gfoxconsulting?
