But we are a bit nerdy, and we do have a pragmatic edge. We came to #TeamPete because we loved the values, but we stayed for the big, policies that were so interconnected you could play four dimensional chess with them. 3+
We also live by the Rules of the Road (or try to). The #ROTR shape how we engage with not only one another, but with others. We believe in changing how Politics is done. The #ROTR guided the campaign - as did Relational Organizing. 4+
With Relational Organizing, we told our stories, and we organized everywhere. You see, #TeamPete may be nerds, but we are nerds with a toolbox of skills, and we are damn good at it. Don’t underestimate us … seriously. We aren’t playing. 5+
Speaking of stories, there are stories in South Bend, and the OG #TeamPete are SB residents. Rule #1 let the people of SB tell the story, and their story has a healthy dose of pride in their community. https://bit.ly/3pL1ZJi 6+

So, what is to come? Well, the Swear Jar - that stays, so all you MF’s pay up, if you’ve been letting it loose. We will be changing out the Swear Jar beneficiaries every so often. We want to support SB and efforts that will help us #WinTheEra. http://bit.ly/3rfR8HF 8+
We will also be keeping those Relational Skills sharp. Because if we want to see infrastructure week become a success, and the DOT shine … well, we need to fight for them. Again, don’t underestimate us ... we will make things happen. 9+
