Hi @DMs_Block - I listened to your episode on ambient weather and wanted to share something. "Bad" weather can have positive effects - have you considered how the weather might reveal things about places in your world that would otherwise be invisible? https://dungeonmasterblock.podbean.com/e/222-ambient-weather/
For example - perhaps your player characters are trudging across grassland after a bout of rain and they notice that some parts of the ground are *much wetter* than the rest because the soil isn't draining there?
Could be there's something buried there, and there's a rectangle of wet ground tracing out the foundations where an ancient temple once stood. Could be worth a look - is this where the fabled treasure was buried?
One example I used really recently, my players were exploring an area where it had recently snowed. I thought I could have fun with this, and had them make perception checks - there was a patch of ground where there was no snow...
Why? Because there was a tunnel whose mouth had filled with soil and rock, but there was still warm air coming up from something hot, deep underground. Time to investigate!

In-game weather doesn't just present challenges, but also opportunities. And you can have fun with that!
