Just realized while doing an interview that Trump's silence is strategic and allows his defense to claim that he's no longer a clear & president danger to the republic. It also supports his brief's claim that he shouldn't be removed on procedural grounds.
We will hear from Authoritarian PT Barnum just as soon as he's acquitted. Prepare yourself. He's only being quiet for strategic purposes.
If he were communicating to the public he'd still be running his same conspiracy/war rhetoric. His silence makes it appear as though the danger has passed. It hasn't and he is still a danger. He's just waiting to start back up.
As soon as he's acquitted he'll be back in all of our feeds. Or he'll announce some new media empire or guest gig on rightwing cable. I don't know what the plan is, but he will be back, doing his same dangerous demagoguery.
