What does a typical week of an early-stage founder look like? Even better. Is there a typical week?

Check out the thread to find out. ⚡️
/ If you are super early in your journey, aim to set structure in your schedule and time-box tasks. Being intentional with your time and resources is the best decision. Think of what is the most important piece of info you need to move forward this week. Τhen go and find it.
/ When we first started, I found myself into an endless loop of reports, articles, videos, blogposts, you name it. In the early days, at times I didn’t hear my own voice for 8+ hours (at that point my co-founder was working full-time and had a couple of recap sessions per week).
/ If I were to start over, I would aim for a good balance between researching, applying a concept, thinking, and talking to people. It can get stressful talking to people at that stage (when you don’t have a clue what you're doing) but it doesn’t have to be (more on this later).
/ Experiment and find a routine that works for you. I set 3-4 hrs of uninterrupted work each day. What helped me a ton is understanding my focus times and mood better. I tend to be more focused in the morning so I try to avoid meetings during those times.
/ Don’t stress about your schedule and force the same routine everyday. There are times I was in the zone after 10pm until late or when I really didn’t feel like working during the day. One of the perks of being a founder (or freelancer) is that you get to set your own schedule.
/ Now, we are a team of 4 so, there is a bit more structure. On a typical week, I have 2-3 calls/day and a workshop (we just joined VisionLab by Earlybird VC). With the team we talk via slack, have 2calls/ week and a daily standup via geekbot so we all know what is in the works.
/ In an early startup, things change f-a-s-t. You may find yourself in a position where you spend 1+ hrs sense making and prioritising your main goal for the next two weeks and then have a call that completely changes your prioritisation.
/ The best advantage you have as a startup team is speed but that only happens if you have clear focus. It sounds basic advice but it’s SO easy to fall into the trap of doing too many things (we've been there).
/ In conclusion, a typical week is not a thing. A founders' week during one stage (figuring out customer pain points) will be completely different during another stage (selling your product or fundraising). Anything else you would like to know? Feel free to comment 👇
