One frustrating aspect of the Coronavirus has been the lack of a explanation of why the numbers behave the way they do. The numbers are now trending sharply down. Why? Herd immunity? They say it’s not. Vaccine? Too early. People being careful? Very unlikely.
IMO today’s experts and journalists are so concerned about trying to influence people’s behavior that their role in informing people has fallen by the wayside. There are clearly multiple variables in the Covid-19 pandemic that no one seems particularly interested in solving.
