Today is National Girls & Women in Sports Day! So here's a thread that I'll be updating throughout the day with some women in sports that I look up to. #NGWSD
We'll kick it off with @sarahkelliher4. Sarah is incredibly funny and also has a tremendous love and knowledge for football. Her in-season columns at CHTV are always must-read. I'm incredibly lucky to be able to talk to her every single week.
. @MaggieJLoney. MAGGIE LONEY!
Absolutely KILLS it, day in, day out. She does so much writing/podcasting/videos that I have a hard time believing there is only one of her. Hard-working, but with a great sense of humor about everything. And a HUGE heart.
. @perri_goldstein. HI PERRI!
Perri has such a great way of thinking & talking about football. Always a drive to learn more; to really dig in to all aspects. I know she works insanely hard, but at times she just makes it look effortless.
Plus, she's just a good person.
. @crissy_froyd
Crissy is one of the hardest-working people I know. The sheer volume of her writing is insane, and it's all tremendous. She's always pushing. Always working. Always striving to be great, knowing full-well she is already GREAT.
