Dunno if this is weird but.. I don’t really listen to ‘my music’ around the kids. I like a lot of diff stuff but I’m mostly referring to rap (& most hip hop) I dunno I just whack some older stuff on or some more generic people pleaser tunes. You think kids don’t listen properly..
But I remember once my Mrs thought she was big and put Giggs - Baby on in the car and our 6yo (5 at the time) went “diD hE jUsT SaY BuM SuCKeR?!” 🤣🤣🤣 “WhY WoUlD u SuCk a BuM?!” I just had to play it off as ‘Thumb Sucker’ man & luckily I got away with it..
Loads of rap tunes are still mad disrespectful towards women.. maybe I’m being sensitive but they just are. It ain’t even improved since back in the day really, women just make disrespectful tracks back at us as well now 😅..
but TRUST ME when I say this.. they’re both getting a full Hip-Hop/Rap education when they’re old enough... full IN-DEPTH... spanning generations.. they’re defo gonna hate me
