#adoptees, hard question here. Those of you that are searching but are turning up with nothing, or have a lot of challenges with searching because of your #adoption, how are you doing, and how are you dealing with it?
To answer my own question, it's hard for me to know just how much time and effort I want to put into this endeavor. I hate that the more I put into it, the more it takes me away from my current existence and family.
I hate that none of us asked for this. None of us decided this. Yet here we are having to spend all our resources, time, health, etc. on something that is readily available to everyone else. It's down right frustrating.
It is something I'm struggling with. Accepting that this could be a lifelong search with unknown possibilities. As for coping/dealing with it, my escape is music.
