To all those folks out there who are still wondering why the international community is taking an interest in the #FarmersProtests happening in India.
The protest stopped being just about repealing the laws when the government and it's stooges started demonizing and violently suppressing the protest.

Dissenters were denied basic amenities such as water, electricity and sanitation facilities.
Internet black outs became rampant, journalists and activists were arrested, more than 200 SM accounts were suspended in for backing the protest. Some states even went a step ahead blocking even passport clearance of people who are critical of the government.
Over 150 people died in two months fighting for there rights braving the cold winters of Delhi yet the state is busy waging war against it's own citizens by blocking high ways with barbed wires and deployment of military and police forces.
Freedom of speech and expression and Right to life has taken a massive backlash in the world's largest democracy.

Even now if you're convinced that this is not a humanitarian issue, that's because you're living in the bubble of privilege, arrogance and ignorance.
We are witnessing an historic movement led by the farmers and it's impossible to remain untouched by that. What hurts them today will one day come knocking on your door step too. And if we don't speak up for them now, there will be no one to speak for us tommorow.
You can either be silent and be fascist enablers or you can stand up and be party of people's movement against marginalization.

It's high time you chose a side.
