Thread of how Mandalorian culture is very Autistic
1. They love their routines: cleaning armor & guns, having meetings every morning to discuss the schedule of the day, the meals have a set routine

2. Very blunt & to the point. Informal. Wedding vows are short but meaningful. So are adopting.
3. The rules they do have are very important & immutable. Like how adopted kids are valued. How you have to help a fellow mando out in need. You have to follow the six tenets of the Creed. But otherwise it's all up to the individual
4. Family life. People tend to say love through nicknames and especially actions. Lots of found family & respecting differences
5. The helmets & armor of course. Hide facial expressions & Mandos depend a lot on shared culture & trust to get along. Reminds me a lot of masking but in this case they just get to be themselves
6. Special Interests
Seem to be careers like bounty hunting, mercenary, pilots, mechanics, even doctors. When a Mando becomes an expert in something they become an EXPERT. The way a lot of them love weapons, animals, ships, etc reminds me of having a special interest

7. Fucking gender binary
Mandos dont give a fuck their whole culture is very individual based concerning what matters, they use only one pronoun. There is huge overlap between Autistics & trans people so

8. Mandalorians are called emotionless savages by the rest of the galaxy who stereotype them this way & don't bother getting to know them as people. Exactly how Autistics are seen by the ableist world
9. Every Mando tends to have their own very strict rules/code they live by which is very similar to Autistics who tend to also do the same. At the same time, they respect others for having their own rules!!
10. Mandos complaining about the aruetyc (non Mandalorian) world treating them badly reminds me of Neurotypical. Bc typically it's aruetyse assuming things about Mandos espec stereotypes & treating them bad
