this is them photographed, caught off guard, at one of the many graduations they’ve attended. it’s kinda weird because yoongi didn’t actually teach any of these kids for a good few years but he turned up anyways... they’re all joon’s students... huh ok
here they are at the staff faculty christmas party! the theme this year was “black tie: james bond style.” they seem to be deep in debate about the direction of modern hip hop when using a queer theory social lens... you wonder why namjoons smirking, it’s just gender theory ..?
campus is particularly cold after the winter holidays and everyday your two professors can be seen entering work together and leaving. one time you noticed yoongi entered campus with just a hoodie, which is strange, because he leaves wearing namjoons coat... maybe they car share?
you’re not really sure why they’ve decided to watch theatre soc’s play, since neither of them are drama faculty. when asked yoongi rolls his eyes and says “look at us, obviously we enjoy theatre”. you wonder what that’s suppose to mean, and why yoongi looks at namjoon like that

a weird, awkward encounter for everyone involved. it’s 9am on a sunday in your closest supermarket. you’d never expect to see your two professors, looking as hung over as you feel, still in their pyjamas bickering over frozen pizza. you never mention it for all of yours sakes
the departments going on a school trip! you’re not really sure how new york city ties into any of your modules but you’re not gonna knock it. yoongi turns up to the airport in the same shirt you swore you’ve seen namjoon wear in a seminar before. they arrive together, of course..
it’s a saturday and you’re at a nearby coffee shop, “”studying””. at first you don’t recognise your professors, not until you over here one of them order a “black coffee, and a hot chocolate with extra cream for him. he likes it sweet.” maybe they’re grading papers together?
you’re at the library, and one of your friends has sworn they’ve found your professors old myspace account. “look! isnt this your seminar leader? i swear it’s him” you look at the laptop screen and your face drops in horror. some things you were just not meant to see.
on a hot summers day you decided to head over to the seaside for a day trip. you’re a bit startled to see your professors apparently had the same idea.
“hyung, i’m hungry. can we go back to the b&b, we’ve been here ages.”
“it’s been 10 minutes, joon-ah.” yoongi corrects gently

always a bit awkward when university staff come up as suggested acc on your instagram. you know jimin as one of the campus heartbreaker professors, but he doesn’t teach you. although, he does have a post entitled “happy 10 year anniversary, losers” with yoongi and joon tagged...
all you wanted to do was go out to get a bite to eat after your 6pm friday lecture. it’s not your fault that apparently your professors have the same idea... are they.... sharing food? nope. you’re not getting involved. you hide behind the menu instead
congratulations!!! you’ve graduated some way, somehow. both namjoon snd yoongi turned up. they stand together as they always do, like they just seem to naturally gravitate that way.namjoon never let’s go of yoongi. were they dating? maybe you’ll never know........
you’re on campus at your friends room in uni housing, predrinking before you go out one final time tonight. you notice your professors, now dressed in casual clothing, watching the sunset together. huh. (cred @namgigifs)
you’re at the local gay club’s graduation after party!! you can’t believe you haven’t been here before!! now that you’ve got a summer off you think maybe you and the gang should come here more often and— holy fuck is that professor namjoon proposing to yoongi on the stage?!???
the academic experiences is over. what a whirlwind. you receive a facebook friend request the next morning, your professors want to stay in touch! apparently they’ve gone to the mountains for their honey moon, snow hiking or something....you want what they have
