I’m going to be honest, things don’t get to me or make me feel emotional or cry usually but I tell you what does, when I read that young people are killing themselves and self harming because these endless lockdowns are robbing them of their social interaction with friends
When I see young people with their whole lives ahead of them thinking it’s not worth waiting anymore because of all the lies and scaremongering and fear plastered everywhere

I get upset when I see my grandson tell me he misses his friends at school and is fed up
Of everything being done on a screen. I worry about kids who live in abusive households with utterly shit parents that can’t even feed them properly or kids that have parents who take out their shitty problems on the kids and there’s no 6 hours of escape from that
That’s what I get emotional about, the ones who don’t need to suffer that are - I know there’s other groups too who are struggling in this lockdown but kids and young people don’t have the same life experience to cope 😢
