SB is racing through his school work, so much so that a teacher came to drop off extra books and have a (v distanced) doorstep chat, whereby I stressed I absolutely was not helping him, i suck at long division and don’t give a shit about full frontal adverbs or whatever they are>
>anyway in the absence of my still furloughed admin assistant I’ve been letting him assist me with work research, simple but time consuming tasks, setting up studio kit etc and he is such an ASSET I may never actually send him back to school

(That was a joke obvs but seriously he’s a lil worker bee and more importantly he is having a BRILLIANT time. RN he’s testing a handful of my book recipes under supervision as an acid test to see if I’ve written the instructions super clearly enough...)
However it took me years to learn to say no to unpaid time consuming work. It’s taken him twenty one minutes to negotiate a fee for his time and I am super proud of him

I should also be v clear that I don’t feel the need to learn either long division or full monty adverbs today so please please don’t try to teach me because I am a champion procrastinator. Case in point procrastinating by writing a tweet begging you not to help me procrastinate
