Shin x Lena thread (contains spoilers)

The relationship between Shin and Lena has been subtle throughout the story and one of my favorites. Shin is usually tolerant and caring about Lena more than he realize in vol 1-4. The more Shin try to discover himself, the more he struggle

on who he is, in volume 3, was at his weakest point during his fight with Morpho (Kiri Nouzen) then when Lena appeared and saved him, that’s when he realized he had to kept on living. Shin and Kiri is very similar, always fighting to protect the ones they love. Not only did Lena

help Shin, Shin also helped her, he gave her the warning in advance and the reasons to keep fighting even if the country fall. She were one of very few who treat 86 people like any other humans and truly respect them

Shin understood the pain Lena went through for having to see the fall of the Republic of San Magnolia... because he too had to witness so many deaths in the battlefield against the Legion who killed without the discrimination mercilessly.

Lena is the perfect woman for Shin because she makes Shin open up and he began to remember his family and the happy memories that he had in the past because she wishes the best for Shin to feel the happiness even if only for a bit.

When they met each other in person, Shin wasn’t very open about himself at all toward Lena. Lena has been trying to help Shin as much as she could and that’s also when he start to change for better.

If it were not for Lena, Shin would’ve stayed the same, self destructing. And... by the end of volume 6... for very first time, Shin finally opened up to Lena and be happier than he ever is. He realized that he held dears too well just like Lena.
