On serious note, I have very strong emotions. Being unable to manage them was extremely painful for me as a kid. In fact, I’ll submit that every single success I’ve had in life either professionally or personally has emotional self control as its foundation. Every failure traces back to a lapse in it. In my mid 50s it still remains a major source of comfort and confidence.
Last comment: no one in my life wants me to be more emotional. Not my colleagues, patients, employees, or children. My wife especially has zero desire to see me be more emotional or to cry. Like zero zero.
