Lockdown has taught me its important to have a focus and a goal, something to keep you motivated and to get out and about.

My eldest was set a challenge by @WMount to cover 1m a day in January, which myself and @jademichelle31 got involved with to keep him motivated to do it.
Happy to say we've all stuck through in January and the miles have racked up.

For an extra challenge I've decide to incorporate the #couchto5k into it. I've been a stop-stop runner and never really fully got into it (mainly due to time) so this seems as good to pick it back up.
By my own admission i'm not the fittest, and slightly overweight. I'm not looking to be Mo Farah but I reckon 5k is far enough for anyone to ever need to run!

If I don't update this, I've probably had a heart attack in the first week.

Nice to be out in mon-freezing conditions tonight. Can certainly feel a difference in the longer stint of running. Only 2 x 3 mins (😂) but felt pretty comfortable which wouldn't have been the case a couple of week ago.

Did 15k steps yesterday out walking so legs a little heavy today, but got through it at a steady pace. Would have sacked it off a while back so created a habit if nothing else
