5 years ago my family was nearly begging me to leave Walmart and stop animating to become a full time Wawa manager. And my dad told me to join the Navy every single day. My life looked hopeless to everyone but me. Biggie Smalls on loop as I walk home from work, no car.
I used to have to close Firefox and work in silence just so my animation software would run w no lag. Had to sell a ton of my shit to move to PA and buy a nicer PC. Even then I’ve had to pawn off comics and games just to afford meals before. Still ain’t got a car to this day.
And I didn’t do it alone. Many friends who believed in me carried me through the darkest of times and supported me, to this very day as well. But I’m proud to be here, proud to live so scrappy. Proud to have failed outta the first semester of public college n live my own way.
And if you see Kawaisprite, Ninjamuffin, or anyone else being proud of not having a formal education, makin a joke and flaunting their makeshift grit, don’t quote tweet em and say you hate them or talk down on my fucking friends. If you don’t get it, you’re free to fuck off
