I mean, these are literally policies that were in place under Corbyn... in fact I think we said we would have an increase of 10K police officers, so if anything it's a step back...

The real quiz, is if you dont think we need to win back such voters, then how do you propose we get a Labour govt? And if you do, then how do you credibly show you're addressing their concerns?
My view was that we had to redefine patriotism and move it on to economic justice. Hence why I used the theme of "Rebuild and Transform Britain” in 2016 that went on to be used again in different forms over following years...
