If we went by this logic of equating Aba to the South-East, we would be denying that there are unique variables as to why these cities have different outcomes.

(And be absolving Ikpeazu and ndi Aba of their role in this problem).

For instance... https://twitter.com/uchejombo/status/1356701456271876102
I was in talks with a couple of ‘big men’ from Abia one time and there’s a reason for these things and sadly, these issues occur in chains.

The value of commerce, industries and liveability of a place determine the value of lands.

Enugu’s weather, food and its liveability are
some of the reasons real estate will continue to rise

For Aba, these men said that in siting their industries, they face high risks due to rival political/business groups deciding to destroy their plants. Oh yes!

They gave an instance of a PPP for a massive shoe industry that
ended abruptly due to security reasons.

These are issues we want to overlook, but they are stubborn and won’t go away.

If you want to up real estate in Aba, go back and increase the liveability conditions.
It’s ironical for a vast commercial Centre like Aba to have low ratings in real estate. For that level of ROI in trade, Aba’s value in real estate should equally be high, especially in the epicentres.
