I have insomnia - so that means my thoughts are juicy and I will set some down here on the nature of govt. How I think everyone gets it all wrong - anarchists, commies, liberals, conservatives - they all get it wrong.

There are three states of human relationship to an authority of the collective state (that is not a communist reference) or lack of it. The lowest unit is familial - tribes are just a collection of related people and that is as small as a unit a society can will go.

There are three states of human relations with being governed. It is either at the symphonic level, it is at the forced or it is the tribal level. All systems like communism, democracy, Nazis, etc all eventually fall into these three categories of symphonic, forced or tribal.

Let us start with the one that works best for a large and complex society like our own. The symphonic. Before I get into that I want to add this has nothing to do with how free people are - all systems - including tribal use coercion of some kind to get it's members to comply.

This is not about freedom, or equality or human rights. Why? Because human nature - evolution if you will - can give a fuck all about your rights or feelings. It is what it is. So let us start with the symphonic system.

If you live in a large and complex society symphonic would be the best of all worlds. What do I mean when I say symphonic? Symphonic means everyone in the society agrees with how the system works - it can even be brutal and oppressive - but everyone likes it and agrees with it.

I will give you an example from history. From all accounts the Aztec empire was a brutal empire to it's non Aztec subjects - human sacrifice on a horrific scale, rule through fear, etc. So you would think when the Spanish came that the Aztecs would be happy to see the empire end?

No. When the Spanish took the Aztec ruler Montezuma as a prisoner and ruled through him for a short while - the Aztec people themselves killed Montezuma when they saw he was no longer fulfilling his duties. You would think Aztecs would be glad to end their empire, etc.
