Advice from legendary CAA agent Jon Levin and now lit manager on working through covid.
Proud to call Jon my manager and producer for our slate of wild ideas.
We’ve formed a new family. And I’m humbled working besides the person who put together Hook and countless classics.

BTW. I signed with Levin on a query letter. I had a great log and a quick pitch. The script was at a few studios (self submitted) and he took a shot on me. After he read it, we were already moving ahead. Where are we today? ... well, you’ll see it soon. Keep the faith folks!
I’d also like to mention that quite a few agents and managers took to the pitch as well... they were all amazing and kind!!! Except for one. I went with Levin because I grew up on his films, and... I can’t place it exactly but... it felt like the right choice.
Writers, don’t be discouraged about what ya hear on “gatekeepers” - I don’t like that term. Anyhow... sure, there’s stringent criteria for some places but don’t shy away from the desire to start a new team/family. In a sea of a thousand NO’s all you need is 1 “YES”. Find it.
