Watching Kesari after lot of reluctance. Pathans in 1897 shown Lynching a woman like Taliban did in 2000. What an Islamophobic portrayal by Bania @subhashchandra owned Zee TV. Pathans are shown as dark and ugly savages. That’s how islamophobia was peddled all along by Bollywood
Saragarhi was a Pathan homeland occupied by British but in the movie Sikh Soldiers who were mercenary occupying forces of Imperial British Army are shown to righteous. And indigenous Pathan as villains. That’s how Art & cinema is used to distort history & indulge in #Islamophobia
Same British who butchered Indians in Jalianwala Baugh Amritsar were okay in #Kesari Saragarhi because Pathan and Muslims have to be shown as villains. That’s the parameters for Hindutva filmmakers. That’s how history & cinema is diverted & twisted to create hatred for Muslims
The fact is Saragarhi was a land of Pathans & remains to this day. Those 21 Sikh soldiers mercenaries may have fought bravely but they were on the wrong side. The Pathans who defended their land & homes against British occupiers were the real heroes not those Sikh mercenaries.
Even to this day Indian Army celebrates battle of Saragarhi but does not celebrate battle of Bhima Koregaon. Because in Saragarhi It was Pathans. In Bhima Koregaon Dalit Mahars beat Brahmin Peshwa Army thats not worthy of celebration for Indian Army. The reason? we all understand
If valor of 21 Sikh mercenaries is celebrated by Indian Army then why not Aldo celebrate valor of Indian soldiers that defeated Indian Rebels in 1857 during Uprising? We all the know the reason. It’s clear but islamophobia. There are many other battles that British won not imp?
Lastly to those celebrating Battle of Saragarhi. Put this in your empty brains. Saragarhi was a Pathan land & today is proudly part of Khyber Pakhtoonkwa Pakistan. And those Pathans that died defending their homeland against British & their paid servants are the real Heroes.
These are supposed to be Pathan according to Bania @subhashchandra. These look more like extras of Telugu Film
The only Muslim Pathan part of the good side is a soldier (cook) Khudada. This guy looks like a Bhaiyya from UP or Bihar. Bhojpuri film extra. That’s creativity of Sanghi Bania @subhashchandra
Those 21 Sikh mercenaries descendants are today perhaps in Canada. And Pathans remain in Saragarhi. That is the significance of that battle. Sikhs may have fought well or followed orders yet they were fighting the wrong war & wrong side. History is with the Pathans & is Saragarhi
In Islamaphobic movie Kesari Pathan Maulana reads Siratul mustaqeem, “Surah Alhamdulilah Rabul Alamein” as he drags a woman to be killed. This is how hatred is created by Bania @subhashchandra for Islam & Muslims. And Muslims pay to watch & encourage such hatred? #Islamophobia
Real historical accounts of the battle of Saragarhi is that it was all verbal account of binocular because no one survived to tell the tale. Most of it is Santa Banta tale. There were no 10000 Pathans but only 1500. British exaggerated Sikh victory to boost morale after the loss
