The ICC does test rankings going back to 1953. We’ve spent 25 years ranked 1st-4th & 44 years ranked 5th-8th.

The best of times: the last 3 years & the 1980s, which account for all seven years when we were ranked 1st or 2nd.

The worst of times: 1960s, 1990s & 2005-2013.
