channels like UPN/The CW were on basic cable, so for families that couldn't afford higher TV packages to watch Raw, smackdown was the next best thing.

I knew tons of kids in my neighborhood who were super into Eddie. His death was heartbreaking as we lost a wrestler who embodied the best of our Latino heritage.
