- Another NICATOR Story -

In the 5th century AD, the armies of barbaric Huns or Hunas began to collide on INDIA's borders after crushing China, Europe, and Central Asia.

But the 'Emperor Skandagupta' of the Gupta dynasty, successfully intercepted that huge wave of Huns.
And India remains untouched by the invaders for the next few decades.
After Skandagupta's death the chaos began to flourish in the Gupta empire. Then the second wave of Huns collided, & swept away the 'Gupta' power.

The dark age of torture began. Huns crossed the all limits of cruelty.
Then suddenly, as a Meteor enters the night sky & erases the darkness. In the same way, a young man came out of Central India (530 CE) and entered the battlefield.
He started crushing the forces of Hunas with Valor.
His name was 'Yashodharman' of Aulikara औलिकार dynasty , also know as 'Vishnuvardhana'.
He overthrew the tyrannical rule of the Huns. Even 'Mihirakula', the leader of Hunas had to kneel before him.
Mandsaur inscription states that Yashodharman captured the territories which could not be conquered even by the 'Gupta' emperors.
From the Himalayas to the shores of Arabian Sea and from the Lohitya(Brahmaputra) River to the mount Mahendra', he ruled alone over most of the country.
By saving the nation from cruelty of Huns,
In 540 CE, the speed with which that warrior emerged, the faster he disappeared into the depths of the past.
As if God created his avatar to destroy the Evil.
Today Indian society and history have almost forgotten a him. In fact, there are many warriors who are waiting for their exile to be end.
Including those warriors in our text books will be the real pride of our nation.
