As more and more skaters come forward with their experiences with COVID and the resulting *serious* complications should be a reminder that even if you survive there's no guarantee that it won't be horrible, traumatic and potentially leave you with serious complications FOR LIFE
And that's what happens with young, healthy, athletes.

We are so lucky we haven't lost a huge number of coaches, officials, etc. Who are MUCH more vulnerable to both death and serious complications
Some people haven't liked us discussing that these events are happening and the unnecessary risks we are forcing on people for fun but someone is going to DIE
And that's to say nothing of the people whose lives and/or careers will be ruined by the reckless behaviour in this sport
So yeah, worlds should ABSOLUTELY be cancelled, but as it seems that that's not going to happen, it's on the federations at this point to come together and stand up for their athletes, who are often children and protect their LIVES since the ISU won't.
Also it's time for an athlete's union or some additional governing body devoted to the protection of athletes internationally within the sport, since it is painfully obvious that that isn't a priority for the ISU
It's PAST TIME for serious change in our sport. It was clear before now but with COVID it's painfully obvious that athlete safety and putting health and safety ahead of tradition isn't even on the mind of the ISU as a whole
