1/ In 2011 @mutami_susan became an instant hero after she blew the whistle on the neglect in an aged care facility that she was working for in Melbourne Australia. She lost her job as a result of her courage and commitment to patient safety.
2/ Recently she has been in the limelight for working with the Australian Embassy in Zimbabwe facilitating the donation of PPE and essential equipment to many health care facilities in Zimbabwe.
3/ For someone who has done so many good things it is shocking to learn that there may be serious questions about her credibility after she sensationally revealed that she had been entangled in somewhat toxic relationship with some Zimbabwean politician.
4/ Those of us who had so much trust in her based on the many good things she has done over the years will obviously be disappointed to learn of some scandalous allegations levelled against her in the coming days.
5/ The important lessons for me and hopefully for many others in all this are as follows;
Lesson 1. Everyone of us has skeletons in our cardboards. The best way to keep our skeletons locked up is to avoid unlocking other people's cardboards.
Lesson 1. Everyone of us has skeletons in our cardboards. The best way to keep our skeletons locked up is to avoid unlocking other people's cardboards.
6/ Lesson 2: Related to #1. We are well advised to resolve our private quarrels, privately. It is ill-advised to try and resolve these private quarrels in a court of public opinion. The public forum is not a good place to solicit some dispute resolution or counselling.
7/ Lesson 3: In a public lovers quarrel there is hardly ever a victim and a villain in the eyes of the public. There are just two villains trying to manipulate public sympathy. It is a waste of time attempting to pick a side.
