(1/4) In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth we will be doing a series of initiatives across our platforms to continue the process of educating ourselves and anyone else in our community on the true roots of House + Techno.
(2/4) House + Techno ARE the creations of Black, Latinx and Queer communities, artists and creators. Despite the various narratives pushed in the past few decades stating otherwise, the truth is that without black lives we wouldn’t have House + Techno.
(3/4) Without knowing black lives and how they developed the music we love so much, we cannot assume to really know House + Techno.

This is a message of truth and love, and a message of support for the true roots of our community.
(4/4) Tomorrow we will be unveiling an initiative to support two charities, The Frankie Knuckles Foundation in Chicago and Spin Inc in Detroit.
