PILOT OF THE AIRWAVES

1. We've endured yrs of media bias. Skewed panels of interviewees with a remain bias. Monologues from news reporters, passing off their own views as gospel.
2. Airtime hogging from those who share MSM views. Wall to wall pro EU, anti government narrative. Those with a dissenting view are shouted down, or their words cropped to form a different meaning to that spoken.
3. It was all going so well. The Pilots of the Airwaves were in command, even going so far as to cancel those they disapproved of.
4. We didn't hear it, but an almighty bubble burst a while ago.

The leading actors made collective fools of themselves, whilst hogging the limelight & in full technicolour glory.
5. Not content with making fools of themselves once, they've continued, protected in their bubble wrapped world of yes men, it hasn't dawned on them yet what has happened.
6. I sensed something amiss a few weeks back with the SNP. Their lockdowns have been more draconian than ours & the hit to their tourist trade & all the spin off trades in retail & hospitality must be severe.
7. This year has given a taste of Scottish tourism with a hard border between England & Scotland & it leaves an economic gap that wind turbines & salmon won't fill in a hundred yrs.
8. Then we have Joe Biden. They wanted him, the polls suppressed accurate data to gain momentum & they got what they wanted. An elderly man who isn't up to the job & is prone to talking shite in front of millions.
9. Yes I saved the best for last. The EU.

They've dithered & delayed, then sought to use the airwaves & social media to scream & shout "It's all 🇬🇧fault" when the dispute is between a pharmaceutical firm & themselves & nothing to do with the government.
10. But it gave them an excuse to point at the people on the little island across the Channel & blame them for everything.

But it made little sense. They were squealing about supplies of a đź’‰ they hadn't even approved at that point.
11. We then had the German tabloid stating German officials & experts had looked at the AZ data & concluded the efficacy was low, very low.

And Professor Macron's "6% quasi-efficacy".
12. More tantrums followed with the biggie. Article 16 of the NI Protocol.

For a shorts time the narrative suggested mistake, "a bit daft", but it soon led to an uncomfortable truth, they'd messed up, seriously messed up.
13. Most startling of all was the absence of any notification to the Irish border 'owners': Ireland & N.I.

That looked so poor on the world stage.

A grand gesture, showing how powerful the EU could be, preventing vaccines entering NI across the Irish border.
14. Only a few weeks earlier the EU had made a meal out of the "serious" breach of international law when the govt. introduced the clauses to the Internal Market Bill that could disapply EU law to protect NI/GB trade.
15. Yet here they were, preparing to place a hard border in Ireland to prevent vaccines crossing the border into NI. It's not an attractive look is it! Depriving a country of vaccines it has lawfully & punctually purchased.
16. And the Airwaves had to own it. The monsters they created proved to be incapable & incoherent & a bit unhinged.
17. It hasn't gone away. Our govt. are quiet. I assume they don't want to interrupt the enemy making fools of themselves.

The new Regulation on the export of vaccines from EU member states goes to great lengths to explain something simple:
18. We will export đź’‰to people we like nearby & poor people, for the avoidance of doubt, people we like does not include the UK.
19. The EU have also reiterated the purported AZ breach of contract, yet no-one seems to think the EU has a leg to stand on.

So now they are still digging, still spouting, yet each narrative is an untruth.
20. The EU managed to power grab a new area of competence during the pandemic: healthcare. The ventilator scheme, the PPE procurement scheme & now the vaccine scheme have all been badly managed & roll out too late.
21. The difference this time is that we have 27 countries battle weary from the austerity measures which dragged on for more than a decade. A mismanaged refugee scheme which countries are struggling to cope with & now the prospect of longer lockdowns due to delayed vaccines.
22. We get to watch.

I don't think they'll get away with it this time. They've been rumbled.

The Pilots of the Airwaves got their star turns where they wanted them & now it's time for the grande finale.
