Shea Weber will always personify hockey for me, he is everything I love about this sport. Massive, tough as nails, a true leader, does all the little things right on and off the ice. He’s a hockey player in every sense of the word. He’ll always be a hall of famer in my books.

He doesn’t need the cups or the Norris’ to me. He’s been a top level defender his entire NHL career, coming 2nd/3rd multiple times, he’s won everywhere else, all the golds, the memorial cup. One of the most feared players by opposing forwards. I’ll always think the world of him.

And with the game trending the way it is, there may never be another “Shea Weber” again, to have the impact he has. I love him, I wish there were more Shea Webers in the NHL.
