"Kacchan!" Giggles came from the green haired boy underneath him as Katsuki tickled him, tears appearing in the corners of his eyes, "O-okay! Okay! Okay-! I get it, s-stop! Icant-- b-breathe!" Izuku said on between laughs, Katsuki snorted and moved his hands away before letting

himself fall over at Izuku's side on his back.
Izuku had a smile on his face still as both boys stared up at the night sky, "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Izuku said.
Katsuki turned his head to stare at him, quiet before nodding, "yeah..it really is."
Izuku looks back at him, his

smile remaining for a few more moments before it fades, his hand moving to gently grab Katsuki as he looks in his eyes.
"You know you can't stay here forever."
Katsuki stared at him for a long moment before turning his attention back to the stars above again.
"I know.
Even with

Even with how much I'd rather be here than out there..
Because you're here. Out there..."His voice trailed off.
Somehow, Izuku said it for him.
"You feel lost? Hopeless, but you want to hang onto hope? Guilty for not doing more? Guilty for having us be like this in the

first place?
Upset because no matter how much you talk to the real Deku, you won't get a response?"
And when Katsuki turned to look,
He was gone.

Katsuki woke up to the sound of the machine that was still keeping the boy on the hospital bed alive, he didn't bother to lift his head off his his arms that rested on the side of the hospital bed when he looked at the sleeping boy...

Sleeping.
Because thinking he was just asleep would make it easier to accept that he won't be talking to the real Deku until he finally wakes up.

He tried somehow to convince himself that it made it easier to accept the fact that he didn't know when- if it would ever- happen.
