gonna be super frank— trans men, transmascs, non-binary ppl die because we are left out of healthcare discussions. we die because reproductive health, cancer screenings, etc are framed as “women’s” issues— where we are unwelcome. we DIE. it’s that serious.
when looking at informed consent for T— you’ll see a lot of “oh well... transmasc people die disproportionately of cervical cancers, but it’s not because of T... it’s because they don’t get screened.” i wonder why that is? just kidding. we know why.
