Referees vs Arsenal {A Thread}

1. Arsenal 2-2 Crystal Palace in one of our most infamous games in recent years, Sokratis scores the “winner” in the 86th minute just for it to be ruled out by VAR for a “foul” by Chambers
Chambers himself is clearly fouled by THREE players himself here...

2. Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea and we are trying to maintain the lead when Jorginho, already on a yellow, clearly fouls Guendouzi and should be given a second yellow
Jorginho is not booked, and goes to to score the equaliser in a 2-1 Chelsea win..

3. Arsenal 2-0 Watford and we make an error at the back leading to a Watford goal
Awful by us, but Deulofeu is clearly in the box here, the goal is given and Watford go on to draw 2-2...

4. This doesn’t need context, how is this not a penalty?
Sheffield Utd go on to win 1-0..

5. Oxlade Chamberlain handles the ball on the line, Gibbs is sent off
Embarrassing...

6. UCL final, 0-0 at the time and Eto’o is through on goal, taken down by Lehman
Yes I can see why you’d think this should be a red card, but a Barcelona player follows through and scores
The referee decides to send off Lehman and rule out the goal instead, hindering our chances

7. The same game, at this point we are 1-0 up with incredibly tired legs, as Eto’o runs though on goal and scores - in an offside position
The goal is somehow allowed to stand and we end up losing the game with almost no energy left to grab an equaliser..

8. Arsenal 0-0 Manchester United at Old Trafford
49 games unbeaten, looking to make it 50 as Wayne Rooney blatantly dives in the box
Inexplicably, the referee gives the penalty which RVN converts, ultimately leading to a 2-0 loss as we get caught on the counter trying to equalise

9. Arsenal 1-0 West Brom in the 87th minute, and the ball is hit across towards Chambers’ arm, in a natural position
Somehow a penalty is given and we end up dropping 2 vital points

lol.

10. Arsenal 1-0 Wolves
Just isn’t a red card is it
Dominating the game and in the 47th minute Luiz is sent off as Willian Jose kicks him in the knee.. how can this happen when VAR is in the game
We obviously went on to lose 2-1...

11. The original Battle of OT
Whilst trying to hold a 1-0 lead, a fight breaks out between both teams, with both subsequently punished by the FA
However, Utd are only docked 1 point whilst we are docked 2
Disgrace by the FA, fortunately we still went on to win the league..

12. Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool 2015
Ramsey is clearly onside as his goal is ruled out, costing us 2 vital points in a stalemate against Liverpool in the season where we finished 2nd
Could’ve cost us vital momentum early in the season and changed our season..

It’s a shame our great club is penalised but the FA constantly, simply for committing the sin of daring to challenge the mighty Manchester United and Alex Ferguson in the 90s and 00s

Went on to lose this 2-0, the last time we got 2 red carts in 1 game

17. Lacazette scores early on but it’s ruled out, even though Xhaka doesn’t touch the ball and isn’t in the ‘keeper’s line of sight
We lose the game 1-0.
