I just want to remind everyone that the Democratic party used rape and trauma for political gain and abandoned them when it was no longer beneficial.

I can empathize with @AOC. I too have trauma. And I'd like to send the DNC a giant FVCK YOU for destroying the movement.

I understand having suspicions over another democrat sharing their me too story. I get it. The dnc used our trauma against us. It's really hurtful when seeing libs and Dems bring up the me too movement after erasing @ReadeAlexandra, propping up and VOTING for a rapist.

But...

We have to be (or rather I try to be) consistent. I fully believe AOC. I also believe that we can believe her and not fall for the dnc's weaponization again.

I hope she can see the pain that Tara Reade and others went through with her party and will fight for them. For us.

I hope she realizes that for some of us, medicare4all was our last hope to treat our own trauma. And healthcare is dire for us.

I didn't think I'd make it to 2020. I put a gun in my mouth in 2017 and pulled the trigger.

And so, depending on the day, I'm happy or sad the gun jammed. This was attempt #3.

It has been 24 years since I was raped, by a fcking cop, no less. and despite having health insurance for most of that time, I couldn't afford therapy

I still can't.

And I have a feeling I'm not alone here. And that's why we are fighting so hard for Med4All. It's life or death for us.
