Your Sun sign is not your identity in your chart.

Your Rising Sign is, first and foremost.

The Ascendent was thought to be representative of where the soul entered the body, since it is the degree where the Sky meets the Earth: the Horizon. It is the life force, the breathe of spirit, and that is YOU.

The Sun in your chart can show more of what house has a spotlight put on it, demonstrating what part of your life may be the focal point of your chart, but just because it is a focal point does not mean it is always representative of you.

It is only recently that the Sun sign was utilized as your Astrological Sign (around 1960’s +), but for the previous 2000 years: it was always your rising sign.

Additionally, for those who feel like they dont resonate with their Rising, I suggest doing a deep dive into learning about that sign before making that judgement, because its not so much the sign thats the problem because that is YOU, but more of how people portray that sign.

There is always the fact that the birth time may be wrong, but wrong birth time or not, at the end of the day: the core function of the rising sign is that it is YOU!
