Hi! It’s a hard weird time in one of the hardest weirdest historical moments any of us will (hopefully) ever live through.

Here are some things that have been helping me feel okay (most days) in case they might be helpful for you, too:

[THREAD]
1) Exercising every day. Especially days when it’s too cold to go out walking a lot. Even if it’s a slow yoga flow. Moving my body always feels good.
2) Cooking dinner together with the hubs or one of us cooking for the other. We both love to be in the kitchen. And new recipes are fun to try! Food is def one of our love languages.
3) Having dessert almost every night. (S/O to @chipcitycookies for being the true MVP of the pandemic!)
4) Having “date night” every Saturday where we get dressed up and have a cocktail and order in from somewhere special.
5) Putting on real clothes and maybe even makeup once a week.
6) Telling each other our daily “peak” (like what was the best part of the day.) Yes, it’s usually about the bébé.
7) Reading funny books (currently loving @wordscience’s collections of essays!)
8) Having scheduled friend time, where I know we will catch up on a call and maybe even watch something fun together. (SATC reruns have been a hit.) Also great if you (like me) are totally Zoom-ed out.
9) Being productive. But careful! Busyness is not fulfillment. Being able to step away from work is important.
10) Solo time. Even if it’s just a quick walk around the block. A few minutes alone is super important.
Those are the main ones for me! I hope that was helpful. What has been helping you feel good?
