What is extraordinary is what utterly thin gruel this is. There is literally nothing behind the curtain in Starmer’s LOTO (or should that be behind the flag?), what you see is what you get: empty phrases, insincere symbols, a narrow focus group report rather than a strategy.
We have a multi-tiered crisis raging—the Covid pandemic, deepening inequality, the climate emergency. We simply can’t afford to waste time with these small-bore political grifters who don’t even seem to want to win so long as they get to control the party and purge the left.
The tragedy of Starmerism is the wasted opportunity. There are so many options, so many alternatives, so many ways we could be responding to this crisis moment. Labour councils practicing community wealth building. Mutual aid networks exploding. Unions going on the offensive...
