There’s yet to be a single story on what’s happened to the USDA’s research department. A once world-leading science team much of the world relied on for vital data. The vast amount of disruption the Trump admin wrought on the federal govt is seriously overwhelming.

Because of that, I find it hard to fault MSM with not adequately covering and cataloging it all.

It’s so extensive it would probably require a 10-part special report. Also-

-we’re in the midst of a pandemic. That and the resulting economic crisis leave little room for other reminders of Trump’s incompetence and deliberate mismanagement.

And then there’s the Insurrection and the ongoing MAGA domestic terrorism threat. And there’s an impeachment.

And of course, the media is also focused on whether Biden and the Dems can get their shit together enough to address the pandemic and economic crises. There’s barely time left to run pieces on the White House dogs and soon-to-arrive cat!

But no matter all that. This is an important point about the Trump era Americans need to stay focused on. And the media, at some point, needs to start working on a comprehensive assessment of all the damage Trump’s done to the govt.

I was amazed to see a piece the other day—

—about the oil and gas office at the Dept of Interior ... which got the same treatment the research division of the USDA got .. . forced to move from DC to a small office in the Midwest and 85% of the experts resigned.

And this is the tip of the iceberg.
