Hba1c - tells us how much sugar has been attached to your red blood cells for the last 12 weeks.

This will be repeated 3-6-12 monthly depending on how long you have been diagnosed, what type you have, & how well you are getting in with your current treatment. 🌡🧪
ℹ️ great way of hacking this is having access to a your very own data!

If you are using CGM/FSL you have access to so much info at the click of a button follow & go to @DTN_UK for a wealth of information on how to Interpret your data & make small changes one step at a time

Primary prevention- refers to people who have not had a heart problem

Secondary prevention- refers to those who have had a previous heart problem

ℹ️There is nothing stopping you being able to record your own blood pressure readings at home with a BP monitor online.

You can then send this to your GP or Practice nurse or diabetes teams who can record them to your notes!
