Chapter 29 of Light of the Jedi is good.

That's something good.

I keep thinking about this scene, where the Jedi reveal their connection with the Force has diminished, and how the extraordinary feats of the High Republic give me hope for what the Jedi might become again via Rey and beyond. +

How it changes how *we* even understand what is possible through the Force (ghost Yoda summoning, say, lightning on Ahch-to; new-to-us abilities Luke learned and Ben learned in turn; Sheev/Snoke using a form of Avar's ability to connect people via the Force) +

It's interesting to view the "dark times" as the entirety of the Saga. The Force has awakened, and with the "shroud of the Dark Side" finally rent and lifted - and a Jedi, Rey, who believes anything is possible - imagine what we will see from a future Jedi Order.
